Rock Anchors and bolts are used to secure potentially unstable rock units and key supporting rock blocks.

There is a wide choice of anchor type and Vertical Technology will ensure the appropriate anchor is used.

All anchors are installed to BS 8081.

Using specialist DTH and Drifter drilling rigs, Vertical Technology can install rock anchors in the most difficult to access locations.

Rock anchors are often combined with a rock netting revetment to provide a complete rock fall protection system.

Suitability and Acceptance

Our engineers will undertake all the necessary
suitability and acceptance testing to BS 8081.
